I paid them a visit the other day and left with some haddock, which I froze for later, and 1.75 pounds of Atlantic halibut fillets.
I wanted to make a fish dinner that utilized the freshest Gloucester fish around, paired with items you may already have in your pantry, fridge or freezer. It’s variation of traditional baked haddock you find in New England.
I’m on a mostly low-FODMAP diet, so time to try something new with an old favorite for National Seafood Month.
The local Atlantic halibut fillets looked really good so I got 1.5 pounds. It’s been far too long since I’ve had any halibut, and at $17.95 per pound it was worth it as a rare treat.
